The TWIST XL operator is suitable for use with leaves up to 7m in length.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

– A ground stop is strongly recommended in the OPEN + CLOSED position
– All kits come with 1 x Two Channel Receiver, 2 x Transmitters
– The XXL Control Box is considerable larger than the DT-A-1 Control Box

Is the Twist XL suitable for rising gates?

Yes. The Twist XL can accommodate gate inclines of up to 10% when installed using the correct mounting arrangement. The application should be assessed carefully before installation

Can the gate be opened during a power failure?

Yes. The Twist XL includes a manual release mechanism, allowing the gate to be disengaged and moved by hand during a power outage or emergency.

Does the Twist XL have obstacle detection?

Yes. The control system monitors the force required to move the gate and can react when an obstruction is detected. Additional safety devices are still required where specified by the installation risk assessment and relevant standards.

Is the Twist XL suitable for high-wind locations?

The Twist XL is designed to handle demanding gate applications, including heavy and fully clad gates. However, wind loading can place considerable force on the gate and operator, so the gate size, filling, hinge position and local wind conditions must be assessed.
